Aaron Porter has turned his back on the National Union of Students.

With the level of student opposition to government policies very high, the door is wide open for a far Left successor to step in. It goes without saying that s/he will be an Israel hater.

Moderate students must therefore be proactive to ensure the far Left is kept out.

Simonson, you are the embodiment of pathetic on these blogs.
Porter was subjected to antisemitic taunts in Manchester. Is that too much for your two pathetic brain cells to grasp?

Thanks Jonathan.

simonson - as for pathetic - Porter was subjected to screams of "Jew, Jew" by hard left NUS members - a clear example of anti-Semitism which you obviously support.

You really are a piece of garbage.

JC, Jonathan has been subjected to the most disgusting vilification and abuse on your blogs - over several months. Why is this allowed to continue?

This guy will stand and must be stopped: Mark Bergfeld, a member of the Socialist Workers party and the spokesman for the "Education Activist Network".

You make several assumptions. First that someone from the so called hard left will 'take over' the union and that secondly 'It goes without saying that s/he will be an Israel hater'.

S/he might be sympathetic to Palestinian rights and freedom/ which is very different from being an 'Israeli hater'.

Yonathan aren't you a lil old and grizzled to be bothering your pretty little head about undergraduate parish pump politics ?

You would be much better occupied destroying The Guardian.

JC, Lukas vilifies Israel and backs Hamas - on a Jewish website.

Yet all I see is that you stop comments from Yoni1. Why?

Amber,
I suggest that everyone complains to the moderators every time an antisemite posts here.

Lukas screeches, as usual:

"S/he might be sympathetic to Palestinian rights and freedom/ which is very different from being an 'Israeli hater'."

There are no 'Palestinians', and we know that you are an Israel hater.
