It all seems so simple to me. Ahava needs to 'fess up, pay for the damn mud and trouble, and clean up its business practices and ethics. Sorted.

Funny I thought the Judge said the business was lawful but that the thuggery employed to try and close it down was not. It is probably to do with the fact that Britain in general suffers from thuggery - witness the recent riots and a Jewish owned business was an easy target. General moral decline as furthered evidenced by Iris's iniquitous attack on the victim.

Adv, honey, it's "try to" not "try and".

And this thug didn't help:

I am certainly not your honey and nor would I want to be.

Before you try to teach grammar you should be aware that some grammarians label try and as incorrect when really it is just very informal and best used in conversation. Other colloquial constructions are synonymous, or nearly so, with try to, such as be sure to and go and. Often try and is interchangeable with try to, but there are some contexts in which try and implies success, e.g., "Do try and behave," and others where try and is ironic and implies failure so I guess I was right and you as usual were wrong!

By the way Mr Hoffman wasn't arrested - your anti-Semite friends however - that was another story.

Oh the ones that went into the shop. Well you should make it clear who you are talking about. I do understand that clarity is not your strong point.

Jonathan
We need to keep things in perspective . This assorted bunch of trots and anti-Semites , mostly both, have succeeded in closing down one single front shop selling some lotions and potions . Meanwhile ,I was attached for most of last week to an Israeli telecoms service provider that succeeded in closing a deal worth 65 million pounds . That is happening every week in every business sector . Israels economy is booming unlike the rest of Europe .
Very soon the newly discovered gas and oil fields will become available come on tap.
The Arab middle east especially Egypt is a busted flush . Always was . Within 60 years the oil will run out and Saudi Arabia and the rest of the gulf will sink back into the sands from whence they came .
The narcissists of the BDS can enjoy their hollow victory . They can congratulate and communicate with each other using Israeli technology . When they start to fall apart it will be Israeli pharmaceuticals and equipment that will keep them going for a little longer - mores the pity .

Carslake do you condemn what happened - the closure of a Jewish business carrying on a legitimate business by anti-Semitic thugs?

Morlocks - troglodytes - subterranean cannibals from HG Wells The Time Machine .
Just love it only now I will always have that image stuck in my head when I see the BDS morlocks .
Hope that doesn't make us the Elois .

Harvey.

but thats exactly my point. When you start referring to people you disagree with as low class then you're on VERY dangerous ground.

Weeks ago I used stronger words in my post describing the demonstrators against the Israeli based cosmetics shop Ahava in Convent Station. It resulted in the webmaster closing that blog for further comments.

'Low class' is comparatively mild.
