Undiplomatic language

Ilan Baruch, a former Israeli ambassador to South Africa and who once served in the London embassy, has made clear his views about the conduct of his government.

"In the last two years," Baruch wrote, "voices questioning the possibility of resuming talks toward a regional peace, as well as those seeking to eradicate such a possibility, have grown stronger in Israel."

"The second Netanyahu cabinet, much like the first – despite the 'Bar-Ilan speech' – is seen as holding on to the status quo and as deserting the diplomatic effort toward a permanent agreement," he added.

He said that since "the government was sworn in two years ago, its members have voiced a persistent reluctance to the international demand to withdraw from occupied territories, a disavowal of the Annapolis understandings, as well as a disregard of the Road Map for Peace and the Arab peace initiative..."In the last two years certain messages were reiterated by the country's leaders, [messages which] outrage me and which I cannot ignore."

"I find it difficult to represent them and honestly explain them,"

A malignant dynamic that is hard honestly to explain. Says it all.

simoneq wrote this on a previous blog:

"European Jews stole the land and everyone knows that.

The chickens will come home to roost for Israel"

This on a website purporting to be an organ of British Jewry.

JC, what the hell is going on?

Who knows, Katie, but it seems our resident South African delete and repost Blacklisted Dictator is back. For more about him, read here: http://quidproquoza.blogspot.com/2009/03/anthony-posner-israelpalestine....

It's an attempt to sabotage rational debate. It's about a very silly person called Anthony Posner who goes by the name Blacklisted Dictator who likes deleting his previous postings and then reposting them to make sure he's always top of the pile. He also always gives himself marks. I pity him actually, because I suppose this is therapy for him. He's been banned once, so it's best to ignore him.

And just to clarify, Anthony Posner/Blacklisted Dictator posts here under the name Jose (and he has also taken the name Jose Maria Aznar among others).

It seems that Milligramsam's two JC accounts are colliding in his head. He sees enemies all around ! And they are out to get him !

How can you expect rational debate with a paranoid of that king anyway?

Curiouser and curiouser.I have noticed this Jose person. He seems very strange indeed. I am sure you are right, he is probably best ignored. Doubtless he will pull the stopper out of the bottom of his own lifeboat in due course. As my old head mistress said, just step around them.

Thank you Mr Pryor.

I think Matt's asylum was about Milligramsam, not me. Correct me if I'm wrong, Matt...

It was a general comment, there are lots of very strange people that post here. And no I don't include you in that Jose.

See Katie! Learning to read between the lines is an important skill here. Milligrasam is known for using two accounts at least here:
http://www.thejc.com/users/joemillis and http://www.thejc.com/users/joe-millis .
With these accounts, he manipulates the points system.
And of course, he paranoidly believes that an Israeli-French using one single (and real) name is a South African, using many ridiculous pseudos...

Thing is, no one believes this Jose person, but they take pity on him. Indeed it is best to ignore him or treat him as if he were something nasty left on the pavement.
