Looks like some members of Israel's far right are waking up

Danny Ayalon, Israel's deputy foreign minister and a member of the extreme right wing Yisrael Beiteinu Party, isn't buying into his Prime Minister's synthetic rage over Obama's brilliant speech on the Middle East.
According to the Jerusalem Post, Ayalon said Obama stood up for Israel's right to self-defence, defensible borders and won't force agreement on J'lem.
"Obama remains committed to Israel as a Jewish state and even demanded answers from the Palestinians regarding the reconciliation deal with Hamas," Ayalon said at a cultural event in Holon.
"The president stood up for Israel's right to self-defense," Ayalon added, as well as "the need for defensible borders and the end to [all] claims."
The deputy foreign minister continued, "It is clear from Obama's speech that no agreement will be forced upon Israel and that unilateral measures will fail."
Perhaps the whiff of reality is beginning to reach the nostrils of some of the anti-peace, anti-hope ultra-nationalists who masquerade as Zionists. After all, Ayalon's party leader, Avigdor Lierberman, hasn't come out against Obama. Perhaps that's because this very pro-Israel President called for land swaps and, more or less, an interim agreement until the tough issues of Jerusalem and refugees could be addressed.
