Prisoners

It needs to be remembered that the a high proportion of the many thousands of Palestinians in Israeli jails, are either political prisoners, or are serving significant terms for " crimes " that in a civilised country no one would be jailed for.

Absolutely correct . The prisoners were indeed serving significant terms for crimes that in any other "civilized country no one would be jailed for .
That's because they would have been executed rather then merely afforded bed and breakfast sentences . Russia ,China and the US all have the death penalty as do all 57 Muslim states . The barbarians should have been executed .
