This is such a repeat of the lies and deception that led the West into war in Iraq. (Now didn't that turn out well? US troops eventually having to retreat leaving a sovereign nation in a total mess)

Iran will not attack the West and nor will it attack North Africa or anywhere else for that matter. Iran has no history – in modern times – of attacking its neighbours or anyone else for that matter. Israel, on the other hand has a tradition of attacking its neighbours (Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon) not to mention its long standing occupation of Palestinian territory.
So who is more of a threat to peace and stability?

Thanks rushkin - nothing increases readership like a completely irrational comment.

In the past 200 years Iran has launched attacks on . . .

In the recent past the US or Israel have launched attacks on Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Egypt, Somalia etcetera . . . plus the brutal occupation of the Palestinians continues.

So who is the threat to peace and stability in the region?

Where were the WMDs in Iraq?

Will there be any in Iran once the US has devastated the country and killed hundreds of thousands of civilians?

Most likely not.

No more war and destruction.

Rushkin or do you prefer Moeran .
Iran is the chief facilitator of global terrorism . They were behind the sectarian violence in irak that has so far led to the death of more than 200, 000 people including British and American forces .
They aid and abet the Syrian regime which has killed at least 5000 of its own citizens and tortured thousands more . It has repeatedly called for the annihilation of Israel , and denies the Holocaust . In terms of its own people , it has murdered and tortured thousands in full view of a watching world with complete impunity .
In short it is a vile totalitarian regime which must not be allowed to obtain WMD s
The fact that you seek to make excuses for it speaks volumes about you Moeran or is it Rushkin .
