Who cares

Well the United States for one because it has severed funding to Unesco, after it defied the White House by voting overwhelmingly to accept the Palestinian Authority as a full member as they say accepting scientific fiction over scientific fact. But here in Israel we consider Umm shmoom to be a bunch of United Nobodies and an irrelevance. So with a substantial proportion of their funding withdrawn let's see how they get on - but of course BenF is full of praise for his nihilist terrorist anti-Semitic fascist holocaust denying buddies - that's not a surprise.

Quite right, Advis3r. Glad to see you standing up to the lilly-livered anti-Zionists. We should rid our country Israel of them and the non-Jews.

OMG, Adv3 - I despair. 'Unesco defied the White House...'
The rest of the world has been known to 'defy the White House' on a number of issues: but if the White House doesn't like you, tough baby, yah must be wrong, yah don't deserve to live - how dare yah disagree with US?
Right is might and ever more shall be so, yes?

Like - almost all the other nations of the world have been voting for years and years that Israel should start behaving towards the Palestinians like honourable and decent Jews instead of the lunatic Israelis who arrogantly like to think of themselves as Jews - but no, Uncle White House says 'No', Uncle White House props up the Israeli fanatic elements, so nothing happens. The rest of the world don't matter.

What is it about Israel that it feels it has no mind of its own, feels it has to sit in Uncle Sam's pocket or die?

Like - here's the latest: For 19 years the UN General Assembly, i.e., the majority of nations, have voted for the US to end its blockade of Cuba. At the last vote, in 2010, the world voted 187 to 2 in favour. But who were the two who voted against, and got their way? Uncle Sam and little Yes-man Israel in his pocket, as usual.

What a brave little, righteous little, people 'we' have become....
"Waddya mean, Walinets? We suffered the Holocaust, didn't we, so we can never, ever, EVER be wrong, right?"

Walinets you have competely lost it. The US contributes 22% of the cost of UNESCO that being the case it should have some say in the running of the organisation.
The UN General Assembly is run by despots for despots and the other countries who vote with them do so not out of conviction but because of the power they wield and because they presumably think it is their own national interest to do so - do not be so naive to believe it is because of any altruistic motive. So to take it to ridiculous levels if saudi Arabia and the rest of the Muslim States (yes theocratic states - unlike Israel)were to decide that night was day and day was night they would have an automatic majority in the General Assembly. So why should Israel not side with the US if it considers that is in its national interest to do so after all Cuba has not shown itself to be a friend of Israel?

Absolutely not, Advis3r. I am a supporter of the late, great Rav Meir Kahane HY"D who was the only one who saw the future properly when it came to Eretz Yisrael and the anti-semitic goyim and those traitorous Jews who side with them. They and the "Palestinians" should be booted out of Israel. And the sooner the better. Kahane Chai. Am Yisrael Chai.

So, not very deep down, Advis3r, you are one of those whom moreinu ve'rabbeinu Meir Kahane HY"D described as a self-loathing Jew. Only right-thinking Jews have a right to Eretz Yisrael. The rest should just leave or be kicked out with the non-Jews.

Ish-Horowitz how long did it take you to think up this persona - you are fooling no-one with your pathetic attempts at misquoting Rabbi Kahane Zt"l.

What he did say was: For so long as the Jew has even one ally, he will be convinced - in his smallness of mind - that his salvation came from that ally. It is only when he is alone - against all of his own efforts and frantic attempts - that he will, through no choice, be compelled to turn to G-d.

Advis3r, but did not Meir Kahane, zt"l, hy"d, not also say:
I know that elections must be limited only to those who understand that the Arabs are the deadly enemy of the Jewish state, who would bring on us a slow Auschwitz - not with gas, but with knives and hatchets.

And
Surely it is time for Jews, worried over the huge growth of Arabs in Israel, to consider finishing the exchange of populations that began 35 years ago.

He stood up against our anti-semitic enemies and for that he paid the ultimate price. As did his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.

The lesson is we must put our faith only in the kadosh baruch hoo and rid Israel - from the River Jordan to the Mediterranean (which is only part of our G-d-given heritage) - of all non-Jews and all those who do not see how wrong they are. Those self-loathing Jews are worse than the goyim. They are traitors.
Only then will the world take us seriously. We mustn't be the world's frier (mug) any more.

Kahane Chai. Am Yisrael Chai.
