Top 10 Libels against Israel

Include

Israel “harvests” Palestinian organs.
(See history of antisemitic blood libels against Jews, which such charges evoke, or are inspired by, and which are still propagated in Arab societies)
Swedish antisemites and Jenny “loose” Tonge, GlibDem baroness, spreading this one. Israel no more “harvests” organs than any other country heavily engaged in medical research.
But what Israel does do is provide the world’s one and only bone marrow registry for Arabs, so that Arab people who need a transplant … go to Israel for the best hope of survival and cure.
Now who does harvest and traffic in organs are Arab Bedu who prey on poor African migrants, desperately seeking a new life in … Israel.

Israel is an Apartheid State, just like South Africa. Worse, perhaps.
Yes, Desmond, you’re the one spreading this fib. Do tell, how do you account for those Arab Knesset members, Arab High Court judges, Arabs keen to serve in the IDF and getting promoted? Not to mention that Arab and Jewish Israelis shop together, go bathing together, play sport together. And VOTE together.
Oh, and what about all those sub-Saharan blacks, many of them Muslims, who risk their very lives to seek refuge in “apartheid” Israel?
But if apartheid is your cup of tea, then just look around the region and you’ll find plenty of cases to interest you. Just ask the Kurds in Turkey or Syria, or the Copts in Egypt, or any non-Muslim in the Oil States. Or indeed, the Palestinians in Lebanon.

Israel “steals Palestinian water”.
Well, actually, Israel supplies the Palestinians with water. http://www.palestinefacts.org/pf_1991to_now_water.php
(Also, see here http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Columnists/Article.aspx?id=235772)
Along with electricity, food, you name it. Probably the first time in the history of warfare that a nation gives aid to a country whose government is dedicated to wiping it out.
After 40 years of UN “refugee” status, living off donations, of refusing to make peace and of being kept in limbo by their Arab “brothers”, the Palestinian economy has become aid-dependent. Most of that aid is either provided by or channelled through Israel.

If Israel isn't an Apartheid state can you explain why Israel builds housing for Jews only? Surely building housing for one group only and by deliberately barring others (based on their ethnicity, culture, and religion) is apartheid?

This whole notion that Israel is moral and righteous because it supplies electricity and aid to a besieged Gaza and an occupied West Bank is rubbish. If Israel were to lift the siege and end the occupation then the Palestinians could fend for themselves and interact freely with the rest of the world (which is actually all the Palestinians wish for) Instead Israel maintains it's ghettos and open air prisons and has the chutzpah to claim that it is moral and righteous because it continues to feed the very prisoners and dispossessed it has itself created.

Yet another example of Aparthied:

Although settlers in the Occupied Territories live in an area that is subject to military rule, and despite the fact that the settlements have not been formally annexed, Israel has applied a substantial part of Israeli law to the settlers. As a result, Israeli civilians living in the Occupied Territories are not subject to military or local law, as are the Palestinians, but are prosecuted according to the Israeli penal law.

Apartheid Laws:

Nationality (/Citizenship) Law (1952)Confers automatic citizenship upon all who immigrate under the Law of Return. Non-Jews – including native-born Palestinians – must prove residency and pass other tests; citizenship is granted at the discretion of the Minister of the Interior.

Under the new interim policy for “family unification” passed by the Israeli Cabinet in 2002, and made part of the Nationality and Entry into Israel Law by the Knesset in 2003, a discriminatory system has been put in place preventing applications for residency or citizenship from Palestinian spouses of Israeli citizens.

Basic Law: The Knesset (1958)
Passed in 1985, Section 7A(1) bars a list of candidates from participation in elections to the Knesset “if its aims or actions, expressly or by implication” deny “the existence of the State of Israel as the state of the Jewish people.”

In 2002 both Section 7A(1) of the Basic Law: the Knesset and the Law of Political Parties were amended further to bar those whose goals or actions, directly or indirectly, “support armed struggle of an enemy state or of a terror organization, against the State of Israel.” These amendments were added expressly to curtail the political participation of Palestinian Arabs within Israel – such as Azmi Bishara – who have expressed solidarity with Palestinians resisting military occupation in the West Bank and Gaza.

The Law of Political Parties (1992)Bars the Registrar of Political Parties from registering a political party if it denies “the existence of the State of Israel as a Jewish and democratic State.”

In Apartheid South Africa 87% of the territory was reserved
under law for white citizens only, and denied from non-white
citizens. In Israel 93% of the territory of the State of Israel,
independent of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, is reserved
under law for Jewish citizens only.
