Where is Judge Goldstone when you want him? Forty times the casualty figures of Operation Caste Lead and yet only seventeen out of the forty seven member state of the UNHRC were exercised enough to seek a special session to condemn the bloodshed. It is worth mentioning that China, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cuba, Nicaragua and Bolivia among others sponsored a counter resolution titled "Assistance to Sri Lanka in the promotion and Protection of Human Rights". Believe it or not, the Sri Lankan resolution sought to commend Colombo for its victory over terrorism and solicited funding from a grateful international community. Israel obviously has much to learn when it comes to chutzpa.

He's busy contemplating the ensuing thumb screws and forward planning his bottle out.
