"The address I've sent my own modest contribution to appeared via the email I received from the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee." Walinets

Thank you for your donation to the State of Israel I am sure we will put the money to good use.

However jokes aside there is they say no fool like an old fool.

I wonder if Mr Walinets in his misguided haste to show his "moral superiority" and what a "good person" he is and how evil we Israelis are for wanting to stop suicide bombers entering Israel and blowing up our children, has stopped to consider that what he has done and proposes others do is akin to paying the fine of a member of the BNP who has been convicted of attacking a CST staffer who was guarding a Jewish establishment.

Talk about useful idiot.

I can't quite disentangle your complex joke. However, its essence seems to be that if someone contributes to a cause you disagree with, that contributor must be a Nazi.
An interesting line of reasoning, to be sure....

How you reach your conclusion is beyond me but there aagin lacking a moral compass as you evidently do should not really surprise anyone. I believe you are misguided I never said you were a Nazi or even implied it.

Complex joke - hardly; if you would take but a moment to reflect that what you doing is contributing to the fine of a convicted criminal who is implicated in an attack against the State of Israel and whose fine will end up in the coffers of the State of Israel - so thanks for the donation!

And goodness knows they need the money. I wonder how they will use it. To help alleviate social distress in Israel ? To further fund sponging settlers in the west bank ?

Answers on a post card please.

Does this mean Israel won't be needing so many of my tax dollars?

I'm thinking of your original comment re 20-year-old Ibrahim Srour's fine on 12th September, which contained the following extract:-

"....the fine payable to enable his release was the paltry not "immense" sum as claimed above (less than $1 per head of population of his home town)... (you could) quickly collect the money from among relatives or friends...."

... and my response on the 13th:-
"Mr/Mrs/Ms Adv3 - Do you really live in a world where $3,250 - I repeat, $3,250 - is PALTRY? Do you really live amongst relatives and friends from whom you could quickly collect such an amount? Evidently you do. In which case, I question whether someone as wealthy as you is really in a position to express reliable opinions on how people in poor communities cope."

Reading now of your delight at this 'paltry' fine's contribution potential to Israeli state funds, why not pay Ibrahim's fine for him? Israel's Treasury would be delighted by your donation, as you say.
