I think this whole issue of Jonathan and the EDL standing together on one cause at a demonstration was so overblown. In the US, evangelicals are fervently in Israel's corner. Does this mean that Jews must repudiate them because they may disagree on US domestic issues?

You may just need to provide that" overwhelming "evidence in court . That's a serious and defamatory allegation that you make and just because it appears on a fairly open but minority read blog does not lessen the defamation .
I can assure you there is a bank of firm evidence that contradicts your allegation . You may well be tested if your defamation is allowed to stand .
