More on Who Cares

The New York Times, in its UNESCO story, revealed something interesting:

Palestine became the 195th full member of Unesco on Monday, as the United Nations organization defied a mandated cutoff of American funds under federal legislation from the 1990s.

The step will cost the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization one-quarter of its yearly budget — the 22 percent contributed by the United States (about $70 million) plus another 3 percent contributed by Israel.

That means that Israel contributed some $9 million annually to the agency!

Israel has been cooperating with UNESCO for well over a decade in various international projects, helping out in places as far flung as Jamaica.

But now that UNESCO has become a virtual subsidiary of ISESCO, I'm sure that Islamic countries will make up for the shortfall in cash and cooperation.

A good move. That money would be far better used to bring the empty vessel "secular" and self-loathing Jews back to Torah true Judaism and the love of Eretz Yisrael and Am Yisrael. We need to ween these deluded people off their foeign inspired judenhass

Jose why do you beat yourself up so. You will fret yourself in to an early grave

Everyone knows that any funding crisis will be very temporary, and it is quite pathetic of those that take their bat home when they don't get there own way.

It is worth pointing out that any country that fails to meet it's funding obligations for 2 years loses it's vote. The US won't let that happen. Unless they and Israel want to form
their own little ESCO.

And as Ben says no one cares a flying wotsit about Israel's cooperation or lack thereof

By "no one" he obviously means the two nobodies known as BenF and RRZ and who cares what intellectually challenged bigots think?

In the meantime 2400 new housing units to be built in Yesha and no money for the kleptocracy run by the PA.
