I cheerfully admit to hating the occupation.

" It's impossible to be an occupier and not to behave as such"

The occupation is a moral catastrophe for the Jewish people.

jonotway,
get your English straight: Israelis are not "occupiers", they are occupants. They occupy their land, the land of their fathers. As Bibi said to Congress, receiving in return great applause and a standing ovation, Israelis in Judea and Samaria are not foreigners.

The hatred displayed by some of the people posting here give us huge encouragement: when evil people get angry, we are obviously doing something right.

Keep pumping - it primes us for greater efforts.

"the land of thier fathers" - what rubbish. Firstly you are presumably talking about people who were there 2000 years ago. how is this relevant today?
Judea and Samiria does not exist. The name everyone uses in the real world is The Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Okay, Simoneq. I'll be consistent and call Gibraltar occupied territory as a British colony. After all, Spain has made a claim for it beginning with Franco. Then I'll go on and call Northern Ireland occupied territory.

The Occupied Palestinian Territories is a loaded political term used by opponents of Israel. The correct term is disputed land. When has anyone ever called Kashmir occupied, even though it's in dispute between India and Pakistan.

You don't even to go back 2,000 years to make a claim for Israel. Jews have lived in the Middle East for centuries, and did not enjoy full rights in Arab lands, and experienced pogroms and boycotts before the state was created.

Let me quote from Texan Jewish country singer Kinky Friedman:

"They don't make Jews like Jesus anymore"

The West Bank can be called chocolate mousse for all it matters. It is still under Israeli occupation and it will be part of the future Palestinian state. If Israel wants to survive, that is.
