Immoral Equivalency

As an Israeli I am becoming terribly sick and tired of the disgusting degenerate and immoral equivalency being shown by the British MSM, Government and Loyal Opposition and and even the UN Secretary General. Displaying their moral bankruptcy by equating what happened in Itamar and Jerusalem and the indiscriminate shelling and rocket bombardment by Arab terrorists into Israeli cities with Israel's lawful response and the unfortunae and regrettable death of Gazans used as human shields by Hamas. Let's say for argument sake we are in a small town in the UK. At one end of this town a man enters the house of a sleeping family in the dead of night and literally slits everyones' throat the husband the wife and three children and then escapes detection.
At the other end of town armed police are called to a hostage situation where the hostage taker is firing indiscriminately at anyone who comes near. The situation ends up with the killing of the hostage taker but unfortunately one of the armed policeman in error kills some innocent bystanders. What the British MSM, Government and Loyal Opposition and and even the UN Secretary General are saying when they condemn both Hamas and Israel with equal venom is that in our scenario the policeman is as morally and legally culpable as the homicidal maniac. As I said all the above and anyone who thinks like them are morally bankrupt; no wonder the UK and the World is in the mess it is.

24 March, 2011 - 16:36 Rate this: 1 point | .....civilian casualties...... Is Leah channeling Amber? |
24 March, 2011 - 18:00 Rate this: -6 points | There most certainly are buts. When Nazis bombard Israel without provocation, they get the wrath of Israel upon their heads. Don't want casualties: Don't bombard Jews. Is Iris channelling the Stuermer? Why are these 2 Hamas shills allowed to post here? |
25 March, 2011 - 10:18 Rate this: 0 points | No Leah, no ifs, no buts. The death of a family, whether by a butcher's knife or by a tank shell, is to be mourned. It displays a frightening level of double standards to suggest otherwise. |
25 March, 2011 - 15:53 Rate this: 0 points | Amber needs to return to her tassel twirling and leave posting under pseudonyms to those with an aptitude for it. |
25 March, 2011 - 17:30 Rate this: 0 points | She probably is someone called Leah. Amber was far more splenetic. |

A good point, well made. I take it you mean also the as-yet-nameless Palestinian family slaughtered by an Israeli tank shell while they were playing football in Gaza this week. Unfortunately, their pictures haven't been plastered all over the internet.
