Fink represents no-one but herself (and possibly the Stalinist anti-Zionist Greenstein). JBIG holds its annual meetings in a telephone box. Fink thinks it's OK to interrupt string quartet concerts if the performers come from Israel.

Yet John McManus thinks she merits around 25% of the article and the title "Gaza crisis shows fault lines among UK Jews"

Oh I forgot .. McManus works for the BBC .......

Jon,
The misreporting is in the headline: "Gaza crisis shows fault lines among UK Jews".

J-BIG's presence is not an indication of a fault-line.

Now, that wasn't so difficult, was it?

but that's not really misreporting though. There ARE differences of opinion amongst the British (and indeed worldwide) Jewish Community.

Fink may think she's a "fault line" but she's not even a hairline effing crack.....

Alright Jonathan. Just go back to shouting. I thought you wanted to convince people of your arguments but if you're not prepared to do that then I think that speaks for itself.

The implcation is that J-BIG's atendance is prima facie evidence of a fault line. But this is not the case since J-BIG has little support.

Now it could be that 99.99% of British Jewry disagree with the Zionist Fed's stance. However, The BBC failed to present such evidence. Hence one can legitimately conclude that the headline was not backed up by the BBC's report. Hence "misreporting".

Blacklisted Dictator: Whilst I don't necessarily agree with you I appreciate that you've taken the time to engage with my question. I wouldn't say that this was misreporting any more than the average redtop headline. To single this article out for something that is representative of the entire media industry seems tenuous at best.

Yes, I saw that article earlier today. I was utterly gobsmacked. The reporter started out with a certain objective and worked his way from there - truth be damned. This notion that Jews are very divided serves three objectives:

1) It allows them to divide the world into "good Jews" and "bad Jews".

2) By interviewing extremist Jews who they pretend are mainstream, it gives them cover for their own anti-Israeli agenda.

3) They believe they are sowing discord in the ranks of the Jewish people regarding Israel.

Your rapier like wit cuts me to my very core....

However, are you sure that domestic violence is a subject for humour. Bit distasteful perhaps?
