Vera Lynns win 6-3

My son Jonathan Erdman plays for the Vera Lynns on Sundays and they had a brilliant game this afternoon against a team formerly known as Edinburgh Castle. They won 6-3 which is a fair reflection of the way the game played out, and it was a very exciting one to watch. Jonathan himself was man of the match and scored two, he plays on the left wing by the way.
I was about the only one in "the crowd" apart from the substitutes, which is a shame because apart from the fact my boy did good, many other very good players on both sides showed off their talents.

I fully suport Erdman in his efforts. I'd by far rather see meretz supporters invest their time in football, than in matters damaging to Israel.

But I can't see enough meretz supporters to make up a football team. I think that maybe in tennis doubles they might be able to field a team ...

They are in the Camden Musicians League. The team was founed by some Bogrim of Habonim some years ago, and now has a mixture of Jewish and non-Jewish players

Good luck. meretz can do what it wants in the UK - Baruch HaShem, here in Israel they do nothing.

An interesting shiduch: both Vera Lynn and meretz - has-beens!
