Turkey apologises for the genocide of Armenians, which left 1,500,000 of them to die with methods paralleled only by the Nazi Holocaust.
Turkey apologises for occupying illegaly a EU country for decades and ethnically cleansing it.
Turkey apologises for occupying Kurdish motherland and persecuting them even across internationally recognised frontiers of Iraq.
Turkey apologises for supporting a boat controlled by the IHH terror-supporting organisation, in which elements who wanted martyre finally succeeded.

Uh? That's just imagination, jandrsimonson's way!

And for those who do not know what Turkey is about nowadays:
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4004549,00.html

Religious Islamic chants were heard, some of them identifying with Hamas. One of the event organizers spoke out and said: "We're returning the Marmara without nine shahids (martyrs)".
He added: "I ask God to return Jerusalem to us and fight for the shahids." He also asked that God "take revenge on the killers" and called for "death to Israel," saying they will fight till their last breath until they take over Jerusalem.

Looks like a clear admission of hostility, not at all the declaration of a "peace activist".
Could we be mistaken about the humanitarian quality of the ship?

And by the way, now Netanyahu says no!
http://www.jpost.com/DiplomacyAndPolitics/Article.aspx?id=201180

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that Israel will not apologize to Turkey for the raid on the Mavi Marmara, in an interview with Channel 10 to be aired on Monday.

The clown Erdogan can spew his hate. Now, to Greece and Cyprus!

I should jolly well think not. It was tantamount to an act of war by Turkey against Israel.
And some shits, including the mega-shit Obama (and it's none of his effing business anyway), want this medieval and murderous cesspit in the EU.

To be honest, Bush also wanted Turkey to join the EU.

The problem is Turkey is going backwards. EU demanded that Turkey have free elections with no power to the Army: Turkey has given the power to Clown Erdogan's islamist party.
EU cannot accept that and cannot accept Turkey occupying an EU country, Cyprus. It cannot also accept Turkey's Armenian Holocaust denial.

Therefore, Turkey is never going to enter EU. But its status in NATO is now under scrutiny. Should anyone trust a country that has so many ties with enemies of USA, such as Iran and Syria?

I don't remember Bush haranguing the EU and demanding that it admit Turkey, like that conceited, useless asshole Obama who thinks he is king of the universe.

In a way, I almost hope that Turkey IS admitted, because that would spell the end of the EU and that can't come too soon for me.

I do remember Bush pushing TUrkey in EU arms. This has been US policy for years. It didn't start with Bush, or maybe Bush Sr.

EU is a good thing as far as its elements are good. Don't blame the group. Just remove the rotten apples.
