For Jebreal, the most important line in the film is spoken by a young PLO activist character who ultimately rejects violence (and is killed by his own people as a consequence): "Our allies are not the Arabs and not even the United Nations. Our allies are the Israelis themselves, and they're not going anywhere and neither are we." This was also Hind Husseini's vision, Jebreal says. "She knew that there's no solution for one without the other."

Exactly so what is to be done ? Please no history, we are where we are. And please no yaboo stuff someone or other never misses an opportunity to...

One state ?

two states ?

no state ?

remember " the're not going anywhere and neither are we "

One state is the recipe for anihilation, just as in Lebanon.
One state is what was before 1948, and we already know what happened. The trend cannot be reversed.

The Israeli are going nowhere else as there is no other Jewish state. The 'Palestinians' can go anywhere they wish in the Muslim world, especially its arabic part and feel at home. They have 1000 times the land surface of Israel for that. Telling the world they need one half of 1% more is just ridiculous.

At the moment the 'Palestinians' understand that Jerusalem is the capital city of Israel and will never be given away, they have a chance for reaching peace.
At the moment the Syrians will realise that if they want to recover part of the Golan, they have to start negociations with Israel, they have a chance for reaching peace.
At the moment, Lebanon understands it has to eliminate the Hezbollah threat, there is a chance for reaching peace.
