Peter Mandelson has had an outrageous potshot at Bob Diamond who is one of the most talented investment bankers on the planet:
Shades of Harriet Harman's idiotic "court of public opinion" comment about Sir Fred Goodwin's pension ...
And Labour MPs talk about "long tentacles of Israel in this country who are funding election campaigns and putting money into the British political system for their own ends" and "right-wing Jewish millionaires" who co-own the Conservative Party.
But about the real issue of this election - the coming public expenditure cuts - there is virtual silence, principally because of Labour's outrageous decision to cancel the public spending review last year.
This is already shaping up to be the dirtiest UK election campaigns in memory and it hasn't even officially begun.
The next five weeks in the UK are not for the faint-hearted.
