The Der Stürmer of Our Times

Nothing better demonstrates the hatred that the Guardian newspaper has for the Jewish state than the following article:

Gaza: From blockade to bloodshed
Nothing has done more to establish Israel’s status as a pariah state among its neighbours than the actions of its armed forces

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2010/jun/01/gaza-blockade-bloods...

Just take a look for example at this small extract from the article:

“There was nothing on board those ships that constituted a threat to Israel’s security, so Binyamin Netanyahu’s argument that his troops were acting in self-defence has no validity. They should not have been there in the first place. The convoy was carrying construction materials, electric wheelchairs and water purifiers for Gaza’s people. This was recognised by the Israeli navy, who said in a statement that it had offered to transfer the aid by land to Gaza”

Two comments:

1) How could Israel possibly know that there was “nothing on board those ships that constituted a threat to Israel’s security” until the ships had been searched?

2) The Israeli navy had not recognised that the goods were harmless at all. They had asked that the ships dock at Ashdod where the goods would be inspected. Once it had been established that no harmful materials were in the ships’ cargoes the goods would then be transported to Gaza.

The Guardian’s lies are now so transparent and its rhetoric so incredibly inflammatory that there can be little doubt that its chief objective is the destruction of the Jewish state. It is in other words the Der Stürmer of our times, a truly evil newspaper.

The ships had already been searched by port authorities in their place of embarcation and in Cyprus.

Why should the ships require Israeli permission to dock in Gaza? Isn't Gaza supposed to be free of the Isreali jackboot? That's what we are repeatedly told.

"Why should the ships require Israeli permission to dock in Gaza?"
Because Gaza is controlled by Hamas - an internationally proscribed terrorist group that is a proxy of Iran.
Israel is at war with Hamas.
Hamas is at war with Israel.
All humanitarian aid into Gaza has to be checked for weapons that is why there is a blockade.
Israel has previously found phopherous and nitrate,(used to make bombs),in sacks of sugar labelled EU Aid.
Israel has previously found electrical timing devises (used to detonate missiles), in electrical goods labelled EU Aid
In case you did not read my earlier report, for your benefit here it is again.
Interviewed on the BBC News, a spokeswoman for the flotilla, Audrey Bomse stressed that the primary mission of the flotilla was to make a political statement with regard to the human rights of the Palestinian in Gaza and to "break the siege", as opposed to delivering the aid itself.
That is why on the "Peace" activists were prepared with catapults, glass balls, metal bars, knives and axes. Expecting that the ship would be boareded they had no intention of following the Israeli Navy's instruction to steer the ships to Ashdod peacefully, they were intent on causing trouble.
Around 600 activists were reported to be on the boats, including 1976 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mairead Corrigan Maguire of Northern Ireland, European legislators and British activists.
The organisations involved in the flotilla include the ‘Free Gaza Movement' alongside other European NGOs, and the Turkish Insani Yardim Vakfi (IHH) movement.
The IHH is a militant Islamist movement with a record of supporting terrorism.
Israeli campaigners last week asked the flotilla to deliver packages and letters to Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who has been held captive by Hamas in the Gaza Strip without any external contact since 2006.This request was refused - where is the outcry at the United Nations about Shalits continued captivity in isolation with no visits fronm the Red Cross.
Readers need to know that there is NO humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Israel sends in 100 trucks daily with 15,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid weekly.
Sorry, left-wingers, Israel will not allow fertiliser, (used to make bombs), metal finishing equipment, (used to make bombs, missiles and rockets), electrical equipment, (timers are used to detonate bombs), that is why every piece of aid has to physically inspected by Israel BEFORE it enters Gaza.
Israel offered the flotilla that they could off-load in Ashdod, likewise Egypt offered the same in El Arish, if they had allowed the cargo to be inspected and if given the all clear it could have been transported into Gaza.
But as the oraganisers of the flotilla have themselves said, (above), aid was NOT the aim of this flotilla, rather to "run the blockade", make a political point, generate the PR and cause havoc

Nice and tasteful allusion to the Nazis with your jackboot comment.

For shame.
