9 November, 2010 - 22:51 Rate this: -1 points | Big shame. But to be honest, if the moderators continue to allow antisemites to post on JC with impunity, I may leave also. I don't need to come here for antisemitic propaganda - I can get it in plenty of other places. |

10 November, 2010 - 00:24 Rate this: 0 points | Yoni1, you are right. stephenb's antisemitism is disgusting. And it is baffling why the JC entertains it. |
10 November, 2010 - 05:21 Rate this: 0 points | stephenb is small fry - although he shouldn't be allowed here, and why he is is a very good question. He is a declared Catholic (albeit only an Irish Catholic), so we know where he is coming from. The more serious problem is the various alter-egos of telegramsam, yankeeuxb, alter-egos of moshe tzarfati. The anti-Israeli comments of these people have now arrived at the zero-tolerance level, and none of their future comments of hatred will pass without retaliation - here or elsewhere. V'day L'chakima B'remiza. We suggest to the JC staff that they check IP addresses of these people where possible, and forbid alter-ego pseudonyms where relevant. It is NOT readers' jobs to complain about comments such as "judeo-fascists" regarding Israelis. It is the Jewish Chronicle's job to ensure that they don't appear in this a so-called Jewish entity. And if the JC won't perform as required ... |

10 November, 2010 - 08:01 Rate this: 0 points | http://www.thejc.com/blogpost/stephen-pollards-guidelines-revisited Quite a few bloggers have asked why The JC consistently allows anti-semites to rock up on this blog and post (of course, there are also a whole load of anti-zionists who regularly denigrate Israel.) Now this might be acceptable if the blogs were not moderated. But the truth is that such comments are often flagged and nothing is done about them. The bloggers, and songs, remain the same. http://www.thejc.com/blogpost/does-israel-behave-iran-and-north-korea Of course, there's also regular defamation (although one might argue that, some of it, but not all of it, is inevitable.) In such circumstances, I recommend that bloggers who are concerned about such vilification, stop blogging on The JC. After all, many of us, told The JC what was going on, and and it took no notice at all. One can only conclude that it doesn't care. So my advice is.. let the JC have the bloggers that it deserves; they can have fun on their own. The rest of you should blacklist this site. |
10 November, 2010 - 10:45 Rate this: 0 points | Why are YOU here zair? You never say anything substantive, and act as some kind of cheerleader to anyone who attaks Israel. Why don't you go? |
10 November, 2010 - 11:01 Rate this: 0 points | A sad day for freedom of speech and rationality. Anthony, I will miss your humour and your common sense. |
10 November, 2010 - 11:07 Rate this: 0 points | Not the cricketer, surely? Oh, that's with an 'i'. Seconding Amber. |
10 November, 2010 - 12:34 Rate this: -1 points | 'Why are YOU here zair?' To counter the bs that the likes of you, amber, and others spew onto this and other sites. |
10 November, 2010 - 13:33 Rate this: 1 point | Except you don't, zair. You never say anything, other than "well said stephenb" or "Israel is awful". Try coherent argument and discussion. |
10 November, 2010 - 13:34 Rate this: 1 point | Come on zair, say something longer than one sentence. |
10 November, 2010 - 17:53 Rate this: 0 points | 5 hours later, he's still trying to compose that one, original sentence ... how pathetic! |
