Tom Gross has the story: "To its credit, Al-Jazeera English has run another report on the incredible mistreatment of many of the millions of foreigners employed as domestic laborers (and in many cases as slaves) in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in the Gulf. (As I have pointed out before, Al-Jazeera English is in many ways not only more balanced in its Mideast coverage than Al-Jazeera Arabic, but also when compared to the English-language BBC and CNN.)"
This short video from Al-Jazeera shows a Sri Lankan woman working as a domestic helper in Saudi Arabia. After complaining about being overworked, she had 24 nails hammered into her hands, legs and forehead, which later had to be surgically removed.

why does Ten Per Cent Hoff Man think we would find this to be of particular interest ? Like he obviously feels that it is of more interest than if it had been, say, an Australian employer and a Filipino maid ?
And why does he draw our attention to it with such seeming glee ?
And why does he think we would want to eat our breakfast alongside watching such gruesome stuff ?
Just what IS wrong with this man ?
