A news report in the Observer today (13.12.09) revealed that Michael Gross urged Ben-Gurion University to sack the British-born academic David Newman. He also wished that Newman would perish. That's the kind of line taken by the more rabid of the anti-Israel mob. Will the ZF and Board condemn this diaspora hero, Gross?

I see no condemnation is forthcoming. It seems the McCarthyite tendency is alive and well in the ZF. Why are progressive Zionists still associated with this group? Not in our name!!!
