The government has said it will introduce a bill to stop Israelis risking arrest when they come to the UK.

However there is significant opposition among Labour and LibDem MPs - 56 Labour MPs and 27 LibDems (more than one third of all LibDem MPs) have signed EDM 502 suggesting they will oppose the bill.

Please sign this petition now to show your support, and please email it to family/friends.

You can sign if you are a UK resident (all nationalities) and have an email address.

Family members can sign but each one needs their own email address.

British Citizens resident outside the UK can sign.

You can share the link on Facebook by clicking on 'share this' button at the bottom of the page.

Please also write to your MP to urge them to support this bill. Look at the list of MPs who have signed EDM 502. Is yours there? Then don't vote for him/her!

What and miss out on an opportunity of nailing Congolese, Rwandan, Serb and Croatian, as well as Hamas and Hizbollah suspected war criminals when they come here?

You don't understand do you! Tell me why I'm not surprised. Go away, read this and then come back.

No-one is trying to stop genuine cases of perpetrators of war crimes being arrested. This is to stop Israelis arrested who have done nothing wrong being arrested. (They would anyway only be held for 6 hours and then released).

It is entirely vexatious and should have no place in British law.

I understand fully that it is gesture politics. I also understand fully that petitions are gesture politics too.
