Rocket from Gaza

Let's just start by stating that the rocket fired by militants from Gaza is wrong, wrong, wrong. It has killed someone, which is a crime, and it has done nothing to further the Palestinian cause.

I have done some research and I have discovered that at least 10 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli Army since the beginning of this year alone. (that is about four people a month). There are also countless injuries inflicted by rubber bullets and fired gas cannisters. The figures for incarceration are just as unedifying, especially those of children in Israeli custody. Needless to say, this is not reported by the JC or many other media outlets.

Until the Palestinians are elevated to the status of 'humans' and not faceless, monolithic 'terrorists' then there will be little change to their brutal treatment at the hands of Israel.
