Cairo: Leaders safe, security forces have replaced the police guarding the synagogues.
These remain completely locked and closed and nothing bad has befallen them.
No reported loss of life or injuries nor any targeted damage to Jewish assets.
Army has ring-fenced Old Cairo where the Ben Ezra synagogue is located.

Alexandria: The shops along the street of the Synagogue (Nebi Daniel Street) have been looted, as have many other shops especially jewellery shops in town together with the main Alexandria Carrefour store.
All the main police stations in downtown Alexandria have been torched with some burnt to the ground. People are roaming the streets, now void of any police force.
The police usually present 24/7 in front of the synagogue have disappeared.
The Synagogue employees have not shown up for work.
In an insecure environment only a couple of people are present in the synagogue in the daytime, to discourage would be intruders.

Why mince words where Zair is concerned?
Go bugger yourself sideways with a screwdriver, Nazi.

Ah the standard 'Jew hater' accusation. Come on guys this is getting tiresome. It fact it shows your arguments are very weak when you resort to such baseless accusations. Just for the record I don't anyone, including you Johnathan.

Yoni1, your last post really shows you have an active but slightly perverse imagination.

The comment by the user "zair" at 11.20 is disgusting.

I take my comment at 11.20 back.

The point I was trying to make was that Jonathan shouldn't start to call fire, when there isn't one yet. In this turbulent situation all communities will be fearful but particularly the Jewish community.

What a load of crap.

People care about Jews living in Egypt and want to know that they are safe and secure.

Why do you have to turn everything in pathetic political point scoring?

What is WRONG with you?

And, if you take back your comment at 11.20, why did you mark down my comment protesting against it?

So will you now apologise to Jonathan for your crass, insensitive and stupid remark?

Sure, just like the Jooos had to wait until 1945 to call it "genocide"!
What other good ideas do you have to get rid of the handful of remaining Egyptian Jews, Hater zair?

Unfortunately, I've had to hone my imagination while dealing with plenty of scummy antisemites like Zair.

Really? I didn't see any!

Go **** yourself, Jew-hater

I guess that's the closest thing to an apology that Hater zair can get. And deserves!

"I accept your apology Yoni"

Antisemite AND a moron - what a winning combination.
