ANOTHER GREAT BOYCOTT SUCCESS. The French singer Vanessa Paradis has cancelled her tour to Israel after being picketed by human rights activists at yesterdays concert in Paris.

You should read my blog more often, Waterdrop!
I always celebrated that victory against BDS!

Waterman, just to clarify: you don't actually have a view about whether a one state or a two state solution would be right, and you also don't have a view about what should happen to the Jews living in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria, because it is up to the people of the region to decide.

If you believe that, then why are you advocating a boycott of the Jews in these areas? If you have no view about the conflict, and no solution to submit, why do you have such strong views about these Jews?

Furthermore waterman, if you are against outside interference, why do you support outside interefernce with the Jews of these areas?

waterman, I thought you just supported a boycott of the Jews in disputed territory. Now you say you support a boycott of all of the Jewish state.

How is that not interfering from the outside? And, surely, to come to such a view, you must have very specific views about Israel which you are not stating?

"the illegal settlements"

Screech this all you like until you choke on it (halvay!), it still an antisemitic lie.

"ANOTHER GREAT BOYCOTT SUCCESS. The French singer Vanessa Paradis has cancelled her tour to Israel"

So, another sad little coward knuckled under to the antisemitic bullies. Big deal. Plenty of singers have visited Israel and will continue to do so.

"after being picketed by human rights activists"

Bile-dripping antisemites are not 'human rights activitists'. Orwell knew what he was speaking about: the USSR, the Third Reich and today's antisemites are simply pathological liars.

A really good weekend for the boycott.A bad weekend for the occupation. Did people notice that Vanessa gave a diplomatic excuse for her cancellation, just like the John Lewis Partnership? But we all know the truth. Even you crazies know in your heart that it is the boycott. Here is a snippet from the Haaretz report

Although Paradis' agent David Stern maintains that the concert was cancelled strictly for professional reasons, there have been reports that in the last few weeks, BDS organizers have asked Paradis to cancel the show.

waterman, I have repeatedly tried to engage with you. Anyone reading this blog can see that - yet you have indulged in obfuscation and avoidance, whilst several of your assertions have been contradictory - for example saying you have no view about a one state or a two state solution, and how you believe outside intereference is wrong - yet you advocate boycotts of he Jewish state.

I invite you again to reply to the reasonable questions put to you - I am simply trying to get you to say what you think. Are you afraid of what we might hear?

Except tha Vanessa Paradis's 'excuse' and John Lewis' exist only in your dreams, remember?
Then, did you notice that a French singer taking money from Israelis is divestment, while cancelling her tour is investment for Israel?
Are you as good in economy as in seeing reality?

Amber I am re-posting the clearly set out notes I sent you earlier. If one of my students kept coming back like this I would have to report them for failure to make academic progress. Here it is, if you do not understand, ask a friend to go through it with you.

Yor ae in no position to demand that I answer anything. However in the hope that there is a genuine spirit of enquiry in what you ask, I suggest you check this site http://www.passia.org/publications/Impasse/Pal-Isr-Impasse.htm#3
Obviously the whole issue of the one or two state solution would need a book length exposition, and I think you want an answer in a sentence which is not possible. However if it helps, then possibly in a one state solution many settlers could stay where they are. However there will be a palestinian majority and the Palestinians must have full rights and not be second class citizens.Thios would be the end of the Zionist experiment.
In a 2 state solution, both sides must start by complying with international law. This means settlements must go. The settlers to move to Israel on the 1949 borders. Both countries to have secure boundaries. Both peoples to have a right of return.
Really a summary on a site like this is totally impossible. If you want a reading list I will send you one

Yor ae in no position to demand that I answer anything.

Translation: I have no answer to your legitimate question.

the whole issue of the one or two state solution would need a book length exposition

Such as: "one side want to genocide the other side"?

However there will be a palestinian majority

That is why there will not be a "one state solution". Israel is not Lebanon.

n a 2 state solution, both sides must start by complying with international law.

So the Arabs must first recognise the Jewish State FIRST. Bye bye, Waterdrop! You did not even understand the beginning of the conflict: Arab intolerance and antisemitism.

waterman, if you were my teacher, I would complain that you refuse to give an answer to a straightforward question. Saying "it's too complicated" is a cop out.

You have refused to answer specific points, such as:

1. If you are against outside interference, why do you support boycotts of the Jewish state?

2. You have not stated whether you support a one state or a two state solution.

3. You have not sia dhwat you think should be done to Jews living in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria.

Say it in your own words waterman.
