Protest at Polish Centre hosting "Seven Jewish Children"

"Seven Jewish Children" is an antisemitic play which demonises Jewish Israeli parents. There was uproar when it was first performed in February last year. Now the PSC is showing it in the evening of Tuesday 7th December at 7pm at the Polish Centre, 238-246 King Street, Hammersmith, London, W6 0RF (Ravenscourt Park tube).

The theatre critic of the Jewish Chronicle said: "For the first time in my career as a critic, I am moved to say about a work at a major production house that this is an antisemitic play."

Join us at a ZF-organised 'double' protest outside from 6.15pm. Leaflets will be provided. Bring Israel flags. We will light chanuka candles.

Protests have been made to the Polish Centre but they decided to go ahead. Given the long and shameful history of Polish antisemitism this is particularly galling. Please come, dress warmly.

This "play" is disgusting - I will be contacting the Polish Centre to complain. I urge other readers to do the same.

Just sent an email to my 200 activists to congratulate Polish Centre on not giving in to the extremists.

This shows zair's true colours. He applauds a "play" which is not just anti-Israel - but antisemitic. The title itself makes clear that the target is "Jews", not Israelis.

Zair, you have major issues with being Jewish. You are indeed a tragic figure. I can only feel pity for someone who delights at the hatred of his own people.

What you could do, Jonathan, is contact the Israeli embassy in Warsaw ((0048 0-22) 597 05 02; (0048 0-22) 597 05 00). The ambassador there is Zvi Rav-Ner who used to be at the London embassy. Maybe he could complain to "head office".

Who said zair was Jewish except himself?

@jose 'Who said zair was Jewish except himself?'
No-one including me, I have neither confirmed or denied it. I think it irrelevant. A bit like Israeli's ambiguity around nuclear weapons.

You're right: it's totally irrelevant. Antisemitism is antisemitism, even when professed by a Jew.
