London blogger Richard Millet said the notion that Palestine lies between the Mediterranean and Jordan is racist.

“This echoes the racist chant of “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” sung by anti-Israel activists. It is a racist statement,” he said.

Yes, Richard! This chant is racist, warmongering and stupid!

It's also a lie, which is perhaps more relevant in the ASA context.

It needs to be contrasted with the ASA's banning (allegedly, because ONE person complained!) of an Israel tourist board ad because it mentioned the Wailing Wall!

I urge everyone to lodge a complaint about the 'Palestinian' lie, and also protest about the banning of the Israeli ad.

I've already written to the ASA complain about the ad and I urge anyone who wants to see a two-state solution to do the same.

I have already written to the ASA about both matters, so far I have just received the standard automated response.
The key point in the complaint about the "Palestine" tourist advert is that it is a work of fiction and therefore misleading the public; there has never been or will there ever be an independent country of or called Palestine.
