President elect

Concerned that he might do something about a health service for America, a minimum wage, tax the rich, support women's rights, tackle climate change? - No I'm not in the least concerned.

Obama's vote came from almost all sections of society but he certainly connected to those who are poor and previously effectively disenfranchised and I hope he delivers for them.

Given that it wasn't so long ago historically that many Jews here and in America were poor themselves (and some still are) we should have a deep understanding and a warm empathy with what happened this week.
