Personal vendettas V debating issues

The JC will have to decide what sort of blogs it wants to publish.

Although one might argue that it is sometimes legitimate to attack a fellow blogger, the question arises about whether it should be allowed to disintegrate into an unending series of hateful comments which are also off-topic.

If bloggers prefer to pursue personal vendettas, rather than debating the issues of the various blogs, they should find other forums to do so.

Moreover, one has to ask whether The JC is wise to allow these seemingly endless attacks to continue. Surely, the publication has a reputation to uphold?

It's not a personal vendetta. It's about how the community is perceived, especially the pro-israel people. We need to make it clear that those who stand with the far right are a mere minority. Loud mouthed, hectoring bullies, but a minority nonetheless.

As I said, write your own blogs about it. You can devote thousand of words to it. Why don't you?

What is going on at Ahava is very interesting. Why not keep blogging about it?

But to hijack other blogs with Ahava/Hoffman/EDL destroys those debates. You should keep to the topic. If you want to change the topic to Jonathan Hoffman, write your own blog about him. I think that is quite reasonable.

stephenb,

They are incomprehensible if you have been to the pub and struggle with English.

Spam has had his explanation. He is engaged now in a pure personal vendetta. He needs to be banned.

Jonathan even in that letter you ere abusive. Ok you can't help yourself. And in that letter you dissociate the zf from the edl, which is good, but you also dissociate yourself from the zf.

tsam,

As I said, write your own blogs about it. At present, you are hijacking other blogs.
You should have the courage of your convictions.

If you are unwilling to write such blogs, one has to conclude that it is a personal vendetta that has just got out of hand.

Of course, The JC could always dispense with moderation. But then, if that is the case, it should let everybody know.
