Norway doesn't get it right

Store asked Lieberman about the Knesset decision to set up a parliamentary inquiry into left-wing NGOs, with Lieberman replying that the aim was greater transparency regarding where the money was originating. He told Store it was absurd that Saudi Arabia, not exactly a beacon on human rights, would be funding human rights organizations in Israel.

Whoever weakens our enemy is a (temporary) friend of ours. So it is not absurd at all but very logical that Saudi Arabia funds pseudo-human rights organisations to weaken the will of Tsahal to defend Israel, to libel Israel such as in the infamous Goldstone report (unchanged even after we learned by HAMAS itself that they lost much more terrorists than the PCHR-based Goldstone report admitted).

Norway will certainly appear as one of the countries that fund the most terror-supporting 'NGOs', alongside Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Now, this hypocrit has the nerve to come to Israel and criticise the only democracy in the area, while his country works for its destruction.

I expect Spain will be on the list as well after the Spanish government was found to have funded anti-Israel TV broadcasts on PA TV. And I wouldn't be surprised if our own government has dirty fingers too.

True Matt. And interesting, isn't it, how the Spanish government has just rejected all talks with ETA, indtead insisting on the complete destruction of that organization. But they say Israel should talk to Hamas ( a far worse and more bloodthirsty and racist organization).

The Europeans are utter hypocrites!

Yes they are Amber, but in Spain's case it's also worth remembering that they surrendered to radical Islam after the Madrid bombings and booted out Jose Aznar in favour of anti-American, anti-Israel politicians. It's no wonder now that those same politicians are throwing their weight behind a Jihadist cause in the hope of saving their own skins. How deluded they are.

Here, incidentally, is Isi Leibler's take on the NGO transparency issue:

For those who read Hebrew, here is the Im Tirtzu report on the NGO that are funded by Israel's declared enemies:

Quite incredible, so I hope that the committee can sort that out and show that the Israel 'NGOs' are totally innocent.

Named European countries who participate to the whitewashing of the Arab money to the 'NGOs' are: Switzerland (not a difficult guess), Sweden (not so incredible), Netherlands (interesting for Geert Wilders) and Danemark (not so incredible too).
