This is an excellent article, all about the "people" Israel is supposed to "negotiate" with.

Incidentally, Jon.
Have you (or anyone else reading this) any idea what - if anything - can be done in a case like this.
Scenario: A certain local rag publishes a feature article basically demonising Israel.
It rejects a counter-article or even a letter.
I has a history of publishing anti-Israel letters and the occasional anti-Israel article, but has only ever printed one pro-Israel reader's letter in reply. It has simply ignored the others.

Is there any way to force it into fairness? Is this a case for the Press Council?

I would just keep sending in articles or letters in response to what you saw, directly written to the editor.
Perhaps after a reasonable period of time if they stil refuse to print, then maybe take it up with the owners/publishers.
happy to give you any further input - if wanted - you can e-mail me off this web site, (i think).
regards
Jon

Thanks, Jon. Contacting the proprietor is a good idea, though I have a feeling they're of the same mindset - the local MP is actively pro-PSC!
