Move home to find work - this man will make it easier (Daily Express)

I have a piece in today's Express on IDS' plans to allow people in council houses to move for work. It's here (please forgive the awful typos and subbing errors which seem to have crept into it).

The typos make the article quite amusing. After all, anything written about duncan Smith needs a bit of humour, if one isn't going to fall asleep whilst reading it.

"Far from condemning anyone to poverty, Duncan smith is trying to give the unemployed every possible opportunity and mechanism to work." I disagree with that. I have spent some time unemployed and have spent a lot of time looking for jobs in different sectors and have found that it is qualifications and experience that is asked for by employers in order to take on work. People moving to another area of the country does not address this important issue that is a big barrier in finding work. I have a friend who lived in London for 2 years and then moved back to Cardiff and she has struggled to find work in both those areas.
