Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad went on a tirade against the United States and the Jewish people in a speech given last week in Shahre-Kord in central Iran. The speech was printed in Iran's Fars media and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

Among other things, Ahmadinejad announced a new goal: “liberating” the US.

"I hereby announce that from this point forward, one of the Iranian nation's main aspirations will be to deliver the American people from [its] undemocratic and bullying government,” he said.

He also condemned Jews and Israel, saying “the West” had “gathered the filthiest and greatest of criminals, who only appear to be human from all corners of the earth... so that they would occupy the lands of Palestine.”

Ahmadinejad's statements follow the imposition of a fourth round of sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program. The Iranian president said the sanctions do not concern him. “Why must I worry, when I have a plan to change the world... [to change] the unilateral and discriminatory world order?” he asked.
With reference to IsraelNationalNews.com for this report.

And, his Nuclear programme is for "Civilian Purposes" - yeh, right! anyone out there still seriously think that?

Forget Turkey, forget trendy-lefty Flotilla's - Iran is the serious matter we have to grapple with - before it is too late!
The world is sitting idly by,(as it did in the 1930's allowing Hitler to arm), a sanction here, a sanction there, a little bit of rhetoric - all a waste of time -pretending the problem is going to go away.

Israel now has the capability to launch long range attacks, having recently purchased and tested new in-flight refuelling arrcraft.
John Bolton and other eminent experts believe that we cannot wait for the Iranians to achieve their ambitions and I am of this viewpoint.
I believe time is imminnent to launch a simoultanious attack on the Iranian Nuclear sites with strategic short range, (nuclear if neccessary), weapons, thereby destroying the Iranian Nuclear capability indefinately.
Undfortunatly I am not in possession of all of the intelligence so could not suggest a time-frame, I do, however, believe that it cannot be left for too much longer.
My parents lived through the Nazi holocaust, I do not want there to be an Iranian holocaust, I believe that Netanyahu must do whatever it takes to prevent this.

The BBC reports today:-

Iran has told the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) it will not allow two of its inspectors to enter the country, state media reports.

So, what is the world waiting for?

Jon,
I think that we are seeing the inevitable result of Obama's attempts to "engage" wth Iran.

The world is waiting for Iran to start producing nuclear weapons. The truth is that most countries at The UN support Iran's dreams in this regard.

Whether Israel can take on Iran, on her own, is really the pertinent question. I see no support from USA.

Although, some American troops liberated the death camps, the USA was never bothered about the fate of European Jewry. Unfortunately, we are back in the 1930's. And the Jews, are once again, on their own.

As soon as Barak "Hussein" Obama was elected i knew we were going to have problems, the whole policy of "engagement" is misguided. "Engagement" is not in the Arabs psyche, The only position the Arabs, Iranians understand is negotiation from a position of strength, appeasement and conciliation is seen as a sign of weakeness, and Iran has exploited this weakness of the "West" at every opportunity.
I agree with you, as long as "Hussein" Obama is at the helm, I see no support from the USA for an attack on Iran.
The situation does mirror the 1930's, with one important difference, it is even more dangerous now with far much more dangerous and potentially devestating weapons on the loose the consequences of Israel making a mistake do not bear thinking about.
I hope I am being too pessimistic, but in reality i do not think so.

Jon,

Q: What is the difference between an optimist and a pessimist?

A: The pessimist is better informed.
