London Does Not Need This Antisemitic "Comedian"

On Saturday 10 April Dieudonné is due to perform in London. Dieudonné is a French rabidly antisemitic 'comedian' who does not get bookings in France any more because of the antisemitic nature of his "act". Presumably that is why he is coming to London and presumably the promoters of this event do not
know that he is an antisemite.

Dieudonné has tried to justify his antisemitic comments with claims that Jews were the main organisers and beneficiaries of the African slave trade, and that they remain the main culprits behind the oppression of both blacks and Arabs.

To tell the venue about Dieudonné please call the Millennium Hotel on 0207 373 6030 and ask to speak to the Duty Manager. You might suggest that it is not great publicity for the hotel to be hosting someone who has been repeatedly convicted for racism, most recently in October when he was fined €10,000 for "public anti-Semitic insults."

Where is this God's Gift performing? And wasn't the Millennium Hotel the place where the Russians knocked off Litvinenko with Polonium?

I just spoke to the Duty Manager Lee Richards who informs me that they have been informed of his background and that the event has now been cancelled . I should have asked who was hosting it . Does anyone know?

Leave appropriate comments on the Paris in London website who would have been well aware of the scum bag

I have had the same message - the Millenium has said they will not take him. The question now is whether the organisers wish to find another venue or will drop him. I suspect the latter.

Thanks Harvey, So this has all been pretty much a tempête dans un verre d'eau or even c'est faire beaucoup de raffût pour pas grand chose since he was never coming anyway. What a palaver over a comedian.

Allegedly, Jonathan, allegedly. Another bit of self-promotion. Is there an election coming up?

This is the second venue that has cancelled him for Saturday night so there must be a chance they will try to find a third ...

Jonathan
As always, well done for your indomitable spirit in always being there where it counts.

Hope we were a help to you on Shabbat outside Ahava in Covent Garden, against the massed ranks of the ISM, peddling their usual brand of poison and actually making themselves look and sound very foolish, especially their closing speech about the injustice to the protestors outside the Israel Embassy and the police brutality when faced with criminal damage and attacks on their ranks.

You amaze me and shame us all by your dedication to Israel activism.

moshezarfati, I don't know what your problem is with Jonathan, but if you were to put a fraction of your effort into fighting back against the anti-Semitism and anti-Israel rhetoric that is so prevalent in the UK, I'd have some respect for you.

As it is, your continual snide and malicious remarks on every one of Jonathan's posts, mark you out as some kind of obsessive and if I were him, I wouldn't give you the time of day.

As usual Jonathan becomes abusive when he's found out. So why hasn't the ZF issued a statement about its mendacious and false claim that Mira Awad cancelled her performance for the organisation? Insurance purposes? Myth perpetuation?

And we have not been told why the ZF has so far declined to retract its false and mendacious claim that Mira Awad cancelled her performance due to non-existent death threats. Insurance, was it?
