I have only just registered, so here is a little bit about me and my wife and family.
My wife and I are both retired. We have two children, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild of just 10 months. By profession, I am a research chemist, and in the last 13 years of my full-time employment, I worked as a school teacher. My wife is also a retired teacher.
Our eldest daughter, Karen, is deputy head of a school for children with special needs. Our other daughter, Sarah, lies in Prades, in the south of France, where she and her husband are in the process of building an ecological house. They also grow all their own vegetables on the little bit of land they own.
We are regular readers of the JC, and also of the Daily Telegraph. When some news comes up about Israel, or related subjects, I intend to comment on it, as I think appropriate. Likwe many people, we are critical of some aspects of both Israeli and British policy. Nevertheless, we are both strongly pro-Israel and pro-British
