It only took two days ....

Anyone who knows anything - and anyone who met Matthew Gould at the many occasions when he spoke in the UK prior to his appointment - knows that he is acutely conscious of allegations of 'bias'.

And yet it only took two days from his arrival in Israel for Middle East Monitor to question his impartiality:

An example of this bigoted drivel:

" ...how can he serve what are to all intents and purposes two masters at the same time?"

http://hurryupharry.org/2010/09/17/dual-loyalty-memo/

(Middle East Monitor is the pro-Hamas propaganda operation of Daud Abdullah, the former deputy secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, and Ibrahim Hewitt, the chairman of Interpal and champion of Jenny Tonge).

The message?

Jews Need Not Apply......

Jonathan I agree with you 100%, it's disgraceful. It's also par for the course, we all know that the aim of groups like MEM is to change British foreign policy to be (even more) anti-Israel.

So Speaks the voice of total impartiality - Jonny, or perhaps 'bigoted drivel' is indeed more fitting?

Why is everything that disagrees with your position automatically assumed to be 'Anti-Israel propaganda that supports Hamas'? When clearly this is not the case.

legitimate criticism of Israeli policies does exist, even though you will never acknowledge it

ibrows, yours is not "legitimate criticsim" but rather obsessive vilification of the entire jewish state.

You are a Jew hater.

stephenb, "you people"? What the hell do you mean by that?

Still a sexist moron?

"Your people" are irrelevant ignorant nonentities

"My people" are disproportionately represented in Nobel prizewinners; philanthropists; academic staff; Ambassadors; politicians; media; and every single profession you care to name.

Stick that up your stinking Jew-hating rectum

jonathan you really should chill out. It is hardly my fault that you are either not bright enough to understand my post or wilfully choose not to do so.

@stephenb

Did Mae West have you in mind when she said "His mother should have thrown him away and kept the stork"?

Jonathon you are a very rude and a very unpleasant person but your problems are your problems. Why you waste the wear and tear on your key board addressing me I really dont understand.

"Why you waste the wear and tear on your key board addressing me I really dont understand"

I know you don't. That's the problem.

You have no idea how offensive "You people need to go lie down a while" is.

As Amber wrote yeterday, "stephenb, "you people"? What the hell do you mean by that?"

So when can we expect an answer?

Now. " you people " was a reference to the posters on this blog whose idea of debate consists in the hurling of meaningless romper room alleged insults. I say " alleged " because they remindmeof the time I was savaged by a dying sheep. I guess I primarily had in mind yourself, Amber and ibrows.I would be interested , in passing, to know who are " my people " the ones that are irrelevant ignorant nonentities.I wasn't aware that I had a " people "

So when can we expect an answer ?
