IJV signatory lies: Delegitimising The Delegitimisers

By Jonathan Hoffman

Seymour Alexander is an IJV signatory who acts as the cameraman for the Israel haters. He posts on YouTube as "MrAlexSeymour".

Look how he distorts what I say by speeding up the recording(2:45)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBH6XONDpes

Now Alexander has been caught lying. Look at his (I assume it is him) comment on this blog:

http://pulsemedia.org/2010/12/02/shin-bet-may-appreciate-caroline-baum%E...

Seeing as how hardly a week goes by without some misshap or other being reported at BG Airport (usually a near miss between an El Al plane and some foreign one (the latter immediately being designated as the guilty party in the Israel press) it is difficult to accept the statement that this same airport is the safest in the world.

Ben Gurion airport does have too many 'near misses' but the notion that the Israeli press blames foreign airlines on a weekly basis is pure fiction. As is the comment that "hardly a week goes by" without a near miss report or similar.

The commenter below him knows this:

Seymour Alexander, I think you’re talking shite. Please give two examples from the last six months of the Israeli press blaming a foreign carrier for a near miss involving El Al.

I’ll give you a year to cover your claim of “hardly a week”.

Israeli does plenty of things wrong without you making stuff up for no good (malicious?) reason.

More unsubstantiated nonsense

Lying through their teeth: The ASHamed Jews don't do themselves any favours, do they?

Holy Crap is that REALLY you jonathan ? I had never entirely believed it. Mainly because I have found it difficult to believe that such a rabid hysteric and homophobe could really get to be chairman of the Zionist Federation.

Thanks for the confirmation

I'm amazed that Mr Hoffman should extend the circulation of this video. It reflects so badly on him, making him appear to be confrontational and bullying. Is your behaviour here somethiing you are proud of Mr. Hoffman? The speeded-up bit I took to be a satirical comment about Mr Hoffman gabbling nosense. Judging by the rest of the video it is fair comment.
As to the "lying", you have certainly not made your case Mr Hoffman. If S. Alexander produces some examples as you have requested, you will look very foolish indeed.
Again !

"Prove me wrong" says Mr Hoffman, before wisely opening a new thread.
You don't need any help from us. You prove yourself wrong in the video. The apalling Homophobia, repeatedly shouting into the face of a man that he is "Queen of renegade Jews". Disgusting.
I am reminded of the fact that Ian Paisley was never attacked all through the Irish troubles because his bigotry and sectarianism made him more use to the IRA alive rather than dead. Keep up the good work of further discrediting Zionism Mr Hoffman.
I also like the way you gives himself a bit of a pat on the back via your alter ego Yoni.

It won't work

Yonithan do you seriously think anyone could be bothered to prove you wrong on some obscure irrelevant issue ? That anyone cares if some obscure person was economical with the truth on some obscure blog?

Humble pie is not Kosher, yet I see that you have to eat large dollops of it from time to time (that grovelling apology in August about the photo of you with the English Defence League woman) Beware it does not happen to you again.

Hi Mr Hoffman,
Oh dear!
The correspondence on the Pulse site is ongoing, and I see that your mate Seymour Alexander has made a posting of listing a whole raft of near misses at Ben Gurion Airport.
http://pulsemedia.org/2010/12/02/shin-bet-may-appreciate-caroline-baum%E...

After 2 mins of Googling, I came up with this one which shows two near misses in 24 hours
http://www.haaretz.com/news/airliners-escape-near-collision-in-ben-gurio...

Mr Hoffman accused Seymour Alexander of lying and everyone else with not being able to come up with the evidence about Ben Gurion airport, but there is loads more evidence out there.
And that's on top of posting a video which shows his boorish behaviour
Another slice of humble pie Mr. Hoffman?

Mister Hoffman, Do one thing to redeem the situation.
It's too late to save the day over the Ben Gurion Airport debacle. That one is game set and match to Seymour Alexander, though an apology from you is still in order. However you could at least say sorry for the repeated homophobic abuse shouted at that man on the video. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour, but you were so unaware of your own bigotry that you posted the video on your blog as if you were proud of it. Shame on you. Please apologise.

Mr. Hoffman will not apologise for his repeated homophobic remarks on the video clip.(see above)
He will not apologise for wrongly libelling Seymour Alexander as a liar
He will not denounce the recent antisemitic attack on a young Jew by a member of the Ahava staff, because presumably antisemitism is Ok when it is in the service of Zionism
He will not denounce the Islamophobia and race hatred so evident in recent statements by many Israeli rabbis and their wives.
Nice man ! A real ambassabor for Israel and Zionism

Learning from Pallywood are you?

Neither Alexander nor you has provided evidence that "the Israeli press blames foreign airlines on a weekly basis".

Nor that "hardly a week goes by" without a near miss report or similar.

That is sick libel from a sick dickhead.

And only a dickhead uses the stupid term 'Islamophobia' for a non-existent thing.

What nonsense, Jez Waterman. I read the Hebrew press all the time, and the only time I have seen a foreign carrier blamed for anything was when an over-the-limit pilot from the former USSR tried to land his Tupolev on the near by Tel Aviv-Jerusalem highway. In rush hour. He had to go around twice before landing at TLV.

Pilot errors happen all the time, in Ben Gurion and elsewhere. Attributing the near-misses to the airport is crazy.
Here is an example for Milligramsam, who skipped some Israeli press recently:
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/198191

The German airliner's pilot deviated from the course that he had been assigned, bringing the planes too close for comfort, 4,000 feet (1,219 meters) above the ground.

Dated November 18, 2010.

By sheer statistics, near-misses will happen more frequently at a busy airport. And Ben Gurion has been busy this year with 3,500,000 tourists (beating 2008 record by far).
Unless a new airport is built with a bigger capacity, or improved security systems, there is little chance that there will be an improvement. Yet Ben Gurion is at least as safe as Paris, a much bigger but also much busier airport.
Of course, near misses are an indication. But the better proof is the number of accidents in or around the airport.
Remember the Concorde?
