How to negotiate?

Israel national News reports this very interesting piece of information that all other News Agencies seem to have(deliberately)ignored.

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/138856

Almost no notice was taken of another pre talks decision that the PA chairman revealed, as he announced clearly that if a Palestinian Authority state is created in Judea and Samaria, no Israeli citizen will be allowed to set foot inside. The PA chairman also stated that he would block any Jewish soldiers from serving with an international force stationed on PA-controlled land.

And Abbas is supposed to be a serious negotiating partner?

Wait, there's more from the terrorist in the suit:-

"I will never allow a single Israeli to live among us on Palestinian land,” Abbas declared

Thank God there will never be another,(they already have Jordan), Palestinian State.

This last sentence is my comment.

And more:-

Abbas also reiterated his support for the “right of return,” the demand by Arabs who fled Israel during the War of Independence when their leaders promised them a quick return after the Jews' annihilation, to come back to the country along with the hundreds of thousands of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren born since. That demand is the reason they remained in squalid refugee camps.......

What planet is he on?

I do think Abu Mazen is in an awkward situation. Whatever he agrees to won't be enough for the loonies. Any sort of compromise will get him labelled as a Zionist stooge and probably murdered.

The best he can hope for at the moment is getting the US to force Israel to agree to continue the settlement freeze then delay negotiations for another 18 months.

this israelnationalnews.com (arutz sheva) report seems to be false …

it claims that the statements it attributes to abbas come from "the official Egyptian Maan News Agency", but a google site-search on http://www.maannews.net (eg ""receive the demanded guarantees" site:www.maannews.net") reveals nothing

it seems unlikely that abbas would openly declare such racist policies

is there any independent confirmation of these alleged remarks?

We hear a lot of offensive things that Abbas reportedly says to Arabic audiences and it's hard to know what's true and what isn't...

Unlike Jon to totally fabricate something!

This from the man who also claimed that the Bedouin only moved to the Negev (i think he used the term 'invaded') in the late 1980's. Clearly he doesn't rely upon any evidence for his statements, such as the fact that Bedouin lived in the Negev prior to Israel's creation, or the fact that Abbas did not make this statement that Jon has attributed to him.

I am no support of Abbas who i believe is a weak puppet leader who doesn't represent the Palestinians, but enjoys endless meetings in which he fails to pressure Israel or the US to end the Israeli occupation.

Nevertheless most of these 'offensive' statements are attributed to Abbas by right-wing Zionist media which are trying to slur him
