If someone says, please give me "a few" extremists, how many would you hand over?

(a) half a dozen?
(b) about 20.
(c) a few hundred thousand?
(d) more

In Israel, it's easy: the criterion is purely political.
Here, radio and TV are controlled by the Left. So 3 demonstrating right-wingers can be called "the extreme right".

But when several hundred left-wingers attack soldiers with stones and other blunt objects, - heaven forbid that radio/TV would use the term "extreme left" - which I can't remember hearing in recent years.

History is written by the victors; today's victors are those who control the electronic communications systems.

Regarding your question, IMHO the answe in't numerical: it's a percentage of the population. Above 5% isn't extremists - its a problem!

... in that case, you didn't understand the answer, which basically pointed out that you asked the wrong question.

Anyway, why do you need to know?

In that case, Avraham, you need to repeat Arithmetic 101.
5% of even a smallish country would be ... oh, heck, you work it out. Why should I do your work for you?
