Hamas is leading Palestine down the road of carnage.

Sorry for the brevity of this blog but I just wanted to share a fantastic article by Israeli Ambassador Ron Prosor in today's Telegraph:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/personal-view/6088655/Hamas-is-leadin...

I'm so glad that Mr Prosor is finally speaking out, and that the Telegraph is giving him a platform to do so. It is time the media stopped whitewashing Hamas's barbarity and complicity in the woes of Gaza.

Thanks Joshua.

Some of the comments are really depressing though...

Thanks, Matt. I read the Torygraph during the week but rarely on weekends.
What a fine, robust article. Ron Prosor is a wonderful ambassador (he's cute, too!), and if, as rumoured, Israel intends to make him their man at the UN, I hope they will send an ambassador just as articulate to this country, where pro-Israel advocacy is so sorely needed.

thanks matt for highlighting this excellent article.
yvetta, i too hope someone equally "media friendly" and savvy replaces Ron.
with the article in mind the followong points need to be addressed:-
1. why did Israel relax the Gaza blockade without insisting on the release of Shalit?
and
2. why does Israel continue to supply, electricity, gas and water treatment to Hamas?

Sorry guys, I didn't notice this was an old article - it was linked from the Telegraph front page.

Still very relevant though... perhaps it's time for Mr Prosor to do a follow-up. He could mention the fact that Hamas burned down a UNRWA childrens' camp the other week as further proof of their liberal and peaceful credentials.
