The catch phrase is from a translation of Herzl's famous phrase (in English) "if you will it, it is no legend". This was written about 50 years before the creation of the State of Israel but is thought to refer to his dream of creating a utopian state in Palestine. Not all his dreams have been fulfilled as for example he envisioned that the language spoken in Israel would be German, which was his first language. The Im Tirzu hooligans had the temerity to criticise Naomi Hazan who is President of the New Israel Fund but forgetting that her achievements in Israel far outweigh anything they will ever do except make complete asses of themselves.

Really, German? He didn't live to see the Holocaust, though. He would have changed his mind, I guess. Even then, there was much more Polish and Russian than German-speaking Jews. So, except for being Herzl's mother tongue, German language doesn't make sense. As far as I know, he didn't dream about German. He just said that he believed that the language would be German.

Hazan is a member of Meretz, that is to say she represent herself and her husband, and maybe a telephone boothful of supporters. She is noted for assisting Goldstone to accuse Israel of wrongdoing and exonerate Hamas for much worse crimes.
