I guess these two Hezbollah members will have trouble with some international tribunal soon, and they need some time to escape.

Is the tribunal still going ahead? I haven't heard much about it lately and assumed Hezb have managed to put the brakes on it.

On the subject of Lebanon, the UN appears to have changed its mind about the dispute over Israel's newly discovered gas reserves:

Matt, only Israel can drill in this area and everyone knows it, even in the UN. Since the Lebanon is a terrorist-controlled state, it can claim all it wants and even get a majority at the dictatorship-run UNGA. But it will never have it at the UNSC.
If Lebanon wants a part of the gas, it has to do what the UNSC asked it to do: disarm Hezbollah and arrest the murderers of Rafik Hariri.

The STL is a bit late, as we were expecting indictment in December, but the last Hezbollah move means that it won't be long.
