Far right get a kicking

Im tirzu, the fascist Israeli group, has lost it's main sponsor, John hagee, the American evangelist who said hitler was a godsend.

m Tirtzu, the organization that threatened Ben-Gurion University with a donor boycott because of their "anti-Zionist" bias, has lost at lease one funding source over the highly publicized row.

The spokesman for Christians United for Israel (CUFI), a U.S. based pro-Israel organization run by Pastor John Hagee, hinted to Haaretz on Monday that they will no longer give money to Im Tirtzu. The potential funding cutoff will be a big change from the 100,000 dollars that CUFI donated to Im Tirtzu in 2009.

Goes around, comes around. Maybe the Jewish agency will also withdraw funding from Im tirzu.

I know this might involve engaging that dormant organ locked away in your cranium, though please do humor us by informing us how Im Tirzu is "far right"?

They are neither right nor left.

They support a two state solution to the conflict and a continuation of the freeze on Jewish building in the so called "settlements".

"Far right" refers to those of us who support Israel annexing Judea and Samaria (such as myself).

Akiva: I don't see that as "far right", just a different point of view. I hate labels like that anyway, their only purpose is to stifle debate and silence people that don't agree.

Who Jonathan? The EDL/BNP? Even your dodgy bedfellows can't match the largesse of John "hitler was a godsend" hagee.
And why are you supporting another bunch of censorious fascists like im tim? Is there a pattern emerging? It won't help your election campaign.

telegramsam do you call anyone whose politics you disagree with a "fascist"?

Don't you think that stifles debate?

(Isn't that what fascists do?)

No, matt. Only those on the extreme reaches of politics are fascists, like the EDL/BNP, SWP, WRP, Respect etc. So no it does not stifle debate.

Of course I care, Jonathan. Practically no one at pro-zion, rsy-netzer, mrj, masorti, Noam and even the ujia wants to see the lunatics taking over the asylum. Loads of Wizo women are against the shouties too. I'd give up if I were you.
