After a dismal World Cup campaign, the aptly named Goodluck Jonathan, President of Nigeria, has banned the country's football team from international competition for two years.

Would it be a loss if England never played again? And think how much money it would save on salaries. Capello is on 6 million quid.
With all the budgetary cuts, it is more than obvious that England cannot afford to fund a useless national side.
