In actual fact, one could employ the same logic to prove that the Holocaust was completely justified. After all, much of the world either collaborated in that genocide or cheered it on. They hated the Jews then. They hate the Jewish state now. The evil here lies not with the Jew but with the gentile and his Jewish collaborators.
