Well, according to "telegramsam" it does.
He writes:" one has to ask why it (Israel) behaves not like the Western democracy it claims to be, but like some Third World hellhole, such as North Korea and Iran."
Do other bloggers on this JC site agree?
I do not believe that telegramsam should be censored on this site. However, The JC's editor Stephen Pollard might be more be more ambivalent. He recently wrote:
"Where an individual or group is, in our view, not offering constructive and thoughtful criticism of Israel but out-and-out anti-Israel bile, then we will refuse to host it. "
So is telegramsam's assertion "thoughtful criticism of Israel" or "out-and-out anti-Israel bile"?
And is the following blog "thoughtful criticism of Israel"?
I reiterate, telegramsam should stay. As I said, I believe in freedom of expression, so on that basis, I am prepared to accept his "bile", even if he thoughtfully produces a caption for a photograph, which would obviously be much admired by the Iranian regime.
However, I do believe that Stephen Pollard should also admit that "out-and-out anti-Israel bile" is sometimes quite acceptable on the JC's Blogs. He just needs to make a further adjustment to the new editorial guidelines.
I wonder whether other bloggers also believe that telegramsam's freedom of expression should be protected or whether it is time for the plug to be pulled.
I hope that this blog is not censored, and I also hope that regular contributors to this blog will comment below. My personal view is that for much of the time telegramsam manages to contain his "anti-Israel bile", but every so often, it inevitably seeps forth, clearly revealing his true feelings and motivations.
