Lebanese foreign minister Ali Shami has written to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon urging him to "prevent Israel from exploiting Lebanon's oil and maritime wealth".

Next thing is they will pretend fish in the sea is a Lebanese posession.

I knew this would happen. And who's pulling the strings? According to the Times it's Hezbollah.

Well, there is a lot of money involved and anyway, only Israel can exploit the resources in this area.
The question is, will Lebanon be able to talk with Israel to get a share of that money or not?

Since Hezbollah would prevent any agreement to happen, Lebanese government had to try to do something in the UN.
It will of course be rejected, but the next step could be a full scale war with Lebanon, that of course would be blamed on Israel.

Lebanese delusion didn't last long:

As I said, the rejection of direct talks with Israel will cost an awful lot of money for Lebanon. Maybe they will understand how much hosting the terrorist Hezbollah costed them.
