Despite what the naysayers will have you believe.
The Gandhi Foundation awarded it's annual Gandhi International Peace Prize to the Parents Circle - Bereaved Families Forum, the first time a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization has received the award, said a statement released by the organization on Thursday.
The prize was presented Wednesday at the House of Lords in London in the presence of parliament members, representatives of the Gandhi Foundation, and a large audience.
The statement said the prize was awarded in celebration of the Parents Circle's work to promote peace and reconciliation between bereaved families from both sides of the conflict.

Pity you state a simplistic: "despite what the naysayers will have you believe" instead of writing much more about the forum: who started it and how; describe its development; the grants it has received, etc, rather than just posting what is essentially a press release.

It is a very interesting and poignant story from many points of view, none of them elucidated here.
